The Mall Taverns Private Dining Room

This autumn, The Mall Tavern launches its charming private dining room

71 -73 Palace Gardens Terrace, London W8 4RU

This autumn sees the launch of The Mall Taverns exquisite private dining room following naturally on from the success of the pub’s stunning kitchen table offering.

Since its spring launch, The Mall Tavern has become a west London destination for reasonably priced, sometimes retro but always heartily comforting cooking. Chef Jesse Dunford Wood and his team have created a much loved local haven for drinking and dining and the same magic formula has been copied to create the Edwardian style PDR which takes up the first floor of this impressive building.

With its wall to floor windows overlooking the pretty Kensington streets below, tall ceilings and Edwardian style interior (with the exception of the retro 50’s Juke box) the stunning PDR makes a grand yet laid back setting for pretty much any occasion. At a maximum of 14 places around the mahogany table, it’s perfect for an intimate celebration or corporate event. The PDR can also be used for drinks and canapÈ parties with a capacity of 25 people.

Jesse has created a range of well priced feasting menus and The Mall Tavern’s PDR is also available for breakfast and afternoon tea meetings, as well as work lunches and for Sunday lunch. Menus range from £10pp for a simple working lunch to £40 per person for a suckling pig feast with all the trimmings. The Mall Tavern’s Wine list is an ever-changing affair and watched over closely by Lea and Sandeman experts who are happy to recommend wines to go with any special PDR menu.

The PDR is also a must for the winter holiday season – be it for a Thanksgiving dinner with friends, a very special Christmas work’s lunch or dinner outing or just a family affair, the setting naturally lends itself to the festive season with its air of faded colonial grandeur.
