Full leaves are combined with natural and organically grown fruits, spices and flavourings to create a fabulous range of distinct and diverse blends, from spiced to sweet and smoky.

Some of Numi tea blends include the special Aged Earl Grey, which is unique in scenting the full lea Assam black tea with real bergamot oranges, while the Berry Black tea is the only tea to use real, freeze-dried North American forest fruits and blend them with hibiscus, rosehips and golden tipped Darjeeling. Ahmed Raim, the founder and master ‘alchemist’ behind the Numi tea discovered the calming simplicity of tea while living in Prague where he co-owned and ran two teahouses. On return to the States, he founded Numi teas in 1999 with his sister Reem. Both passionate and artistic, the siblings have introduced many exotic teas to the US market since and continue to be dedicated to sustainability and fair trade practices. Ahmed, a distinguished photographer takes pictures of the places he visits while sourcing ingredients, while Reem paints these scenes in oils to create the images used on Numi teas packaging.
