To start, enjoy parsnip and chestnut soup with roast chestnuts and truffle oil; chicken liver parfait with spiced apple chutney and warm granary bread; or prawn and crab salad with Bloody Mary sauce. Follow with roast turkey breast and leg with thyme stuffing, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes and cranberry sauce; shoulder of honey roast ham with apple puree and grain mustard and buttered carrots; or herb gnocchi in pumpkin soup with cinnamon sabayon. Then take the time to savour Christmas pudding fritters with brandy butter sauce; iced Christmas parfait with caramelised macadamia nuts; or cinnamon and orange creme brOlee with bitter chocolate shortbread.
