Noura Arrives at Cookbook Cafe, InterContinental London Park Lane

InterContinental London Park Lane is adding a dash of heat and spice to the good old British summer through a unique collaboration with Middle Eastern designer cuisine experts Noura. Throughout July and August the Cookbook Cafe will prepare a selection of dishes from this stylish Lebanese group of restaurants, cafes and delicatessens, which currently reside in prestigious locations in London and Paris.

An unlimited selection of cold Middle Eastern mezze designed by Noura will be available at the Cook Book Cafe’s Market Table, priced at £20 for lunch and £25 for dinner. Whilst the À la Carte selection offers hot mezze of Sojok, Makanek, Falafel, Samboussek, Cheese Samboussek, Houmous Balila, grilled meat and fish and main courses include Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, Whole Sea Bass, Grilled Poussin and Half a Lobster. A three course option of cold mezze, daily changing main course and dessert is also available for £29. All meats are Halal.

To accompany these dishes a carefully selected wine menu has been compiled including Lebanese wines from Château Ka and Ksara and cold summery selections from around the globe.

The Cookbook Cafe is an experience in itself, offering a relaxed dining environment where guests can choose from a wide variety of food from over 200 cookery books ranging from rare antiques to modern day classics. One cookbook is selected each month, tried and tested by one of the chefs and the favourite dishes then appear on the menu. The centrally located cooking stations allow the artisan chefs to share their know-how and interact with customers, demonstrate their skills and impart handy tricks to inspire new cooks and invigorate old hands. Aspiring chefs and sommeliers offer food and wine tastings and the light, bright location is host to book launches, cooking demonstrations and discussions with the renowned visiting chefs. Guests are also invited to offer recipes or inspiration for the restaurant and all cookbooks are available to buy and take home from the Cookbook Cafe shop.
