This is by far the best Chinese Restaurant in town. The owners are
passionate about food. Both quality of food and staff hospitality are
fantastic, you can tell by the amount of regular customers (both Chinese
and Western). You can usually tell how good a restaurant is by the
attention to details. I have been to far too many Chinese restaurant when
you get a pot of tea made with warm water. At Water Palace, your tea will
be made with boiling water, regardless how busy they are. This is no doubt
a restaurant run by those with their heart. OK it’s not very cheap, but it
is worth every penny. It does not matter if you prefer your chinese food
‘authentic’ or ‘anglo’, they simply serve you very good food.

Yuk yuk yuk! What can I say. Just bought a takeaway from there. Almost double the price of my other local restaurant, and no delivery option. Food quality is certainly NOT good enough to justify the price we paid. The deep friend shredded beef, should be renamed ‘deep fried JELLY beef. It was all gunky and tasted of old oil. Chips for my little one were soggy and oily, and the rest of the food was just mediocre. Have certainly eaten better, fresher tasting food for much less. We certainly wont be returning.
