My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary this
weekend (27th October 2007) and as a surprise my husband booked us into
‘The Case’. We only live in Sudbury itself so ‘The Case’ is merely 10
minutes away from our home – if that! We have often visited the restaurant
because of the superb quality of the food provided and the friendly
welcome you always receive.

Last year we were told that they had built rooms behind the restaurant too and I was warmly shown around when I asked
for a ‘nose’. After seeing the rooms I tried to book our wedding night there in 2006 but, alas, they were already fully booked! No surprise
really. So, my thoughtful husband booked us in this year. The welcome we received was once again extremely friendly and warm. We stayed in one of
the two premier rooms which was immaculately clean, of a modern style, extremely comfortable and with a stunning view over the Suffolk
countryside.

A premier room also comes with a jacuzzi bath which was
bliss. We dined in the restaurant and once again had a difficult time
choosing from their varied and mouthwatering menu. I could have chosen it
all. The menu catered for all tastes and the restaurant was, as expected,
full with a mixture of clientel from overnight guests to couples and
families. With our stay breakfst was included which, once again, took some
choosing from an extensive list. It was gorgeous too.

We had a truely lovely time and I cannot (even now) think of a better
place to have spent our 1st anniversary. I would sorely recommend a visit
to anyone – both local and from afar. You will be warmly welcomed and by
the end of the evening or stay you will feel as if you have been known to
the staff for years.
