{"id":852,"date":"2010-08-02T14:26:50","date_gmt":"2010-08-02T14:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dine-online.co.uk\/foodie\/?p=852"},"modified":"2010-08-02T14:26:50","modified_gmt":"2010-08-02T14:26:50","slug":"the-anise-restaurant-east-grindstead-best-sussex-eating-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dine-online.co.uk\/foodie\/the-anise-restaurant-east-grindstead-best-sussex-eating-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"The Anise Restaurant, East Grindstead | Best Sussex Eating Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANOTHER GREAT REVIEW FOR THE ANISE RESTAURANT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Felbridge Hotel &#038; Spa<br \/>\nLondon Road<br \/>\nEast Grinstead<br \/>\nWest Sussex<br \/>\nRH19 2BH<\/p>\n<p><em>Essentially Catering provides it&#8217;s sizzling review<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Anise Restaurant is already the proud owner of two AA Rosettes, was runner up in the Independent newspaper\u2019s Chef of the Year, and was recently voted the Best Sussex Eating Experience but now the voice of the catering industry, Essentially Catering, has endorsed all these awards with a sizzling review of its own. <\/p>\n<p>Never one to take other people\u2019s word for it, Essentially Catering decided to put the restaurant to the test with their own rigorous inspection, which left no pillow or bread roll unturned.<\/p>\n<p><strong> \u201cThe food was inventive and spectacularly delicious and chef Frederick Tobin deserves praise aplenty,\u201d gushed the reviewer. \u201cAnise is perfect for all those who are passionate about fine food and drink,\u201d<\/strong> they continued and singled out the waiter\/sommelier Robin  for additional praise. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn spite of our initial reservation at being recommended a bottle of Gewurztraminer to accompany our food\u2026 Robin was spot on.
