Harrison has once again teamed up again with <strong>Rick Stein and Rebecca Mascarenhas <\/strong>\u2013 to deliver a local brasserie that has fast become an integral part of the trendy Balham landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Sam acquired the Balham Kitchen &#038; Bar in southwest London from Soho House Group and transformed it into Harrison\u2019s &#8211; a genuine local neighbourhood restaurant. The same formula which has made Sam\u2019s Brasserie &#038; Bar such a success with diners has been used at Harrison\u2019s, focusing on modern European cuisine using the freshest produce from breakfast right through to late evening &#8211; served up in an informal brasserie style environment. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Harrison\u2019s is a 90 seat restaurant with a 30 seat bar and a fantastic private basement bar that can accommodate up to 40 guests &#8211; ideal for private parties, celebrations and social events if guests are looking for something more exclusive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Head Chef Dan Edwards, formerly of Launceston Place, delivers a wealth of modern brasserie food at Harrison\u2019s. Mouthwatering dishes include delicate steamed wild Cornish mussels with chilli, basil and tomato, a hearty free range chicken pie and confit fillet of salmon served with fennel, tomatoes, baby gem and garlic cream.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desserts don\u2019t disappoint either at Harrison\u2019s featuring a sinful white chocolate brul\u00e9e with homemade shortbread and a warm rice pudding served with blueberry compote.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Careful attention has been paid by Sam to the wine list with over 50 hand selected wines.
