On<br \/>\nasking local advice, the name which kept coming up was Nobles Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>On arrival we were greeted promptly and in friendly but professional<br \/>\nmanner and, prior to ordering our meal, were served with our wine and some<br \/>\nwonderful, warm bread made that day in the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>I started with soup, which was hot and very tasty.  My partner&#8217;s starter<br \/>\nwas the Three Ways Duck &#8211; delicious and just the right size.<\/p>\n<p>My main course was Wild Boar, cooked to perfection, looked fantastic and<br \/>\ntasted superb.  My partner ordered the Romney Marsh Beef, again, cooked to<br \/>\nperfection and exactly as requested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For dessert I had a White Chocolate Cheesecake to die for.  The Sticky<br \/>\nToffee Pudding my partner ordered was just as good.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We ended with home-made chocolate truffle and coffee which finished our<br \/>\nevening perfectly.  The cost was around \u00a332 per person, including service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other things of note:<\/strong><br \/>\n. A British restaurant with British food.<br \/>\n. Style of restaurant &#8211; clean, comfortable, pleasing to the eye.  Plenty<br \/>\nof room, not squashed.<br \/>\n.
