There were 8 in the party and a special occassion to celebrate two<br \/>\nbirthdays my 40th and my brothers 47th. We share the same birthday.<\/p>\n<p>Five of the party had visited before under the previous ownership of <strong>Annie &#038;<br \/>\nGermain Schwa<\/strong>b and had a great experience. This time was totally different!<\/p>\n<p>The food was either lukewarm or cold both starter and main and served on<br \/>\ncold plates. The wine waiter twice brought the wrong wine having twice<br \/>\nasked which wine we would like. When the the food arrived the waiters mixed<br \/>\nup the starters and mains. We had to wait nearly 1hr for dessert and then<br \/>\nnot that nice. The starters and mains were okay but cold and most of us<br \/>\nleft them. We complained to two different waiters and no one apologised or<br \/>\ncame back to us. The toilets were dirty and the urinel not flushing<br \/>\nproperly and no hand towels. The bar area had two portable fan heaters<br \/>\nwhich looked totally out of place and cheap. The whole experience was a<br \/>\ncomplete disaster poor food poor service! The bill was nearly \u00a31000 and<br \/>\nthey deducted just a \u00a3100! I have written to them twice and spoken to the<br \/>\nProprietor (Mrs Bex McGurran).<\/p>\n<p>Mrs McGurran offered one free meal to the person who paid the bill which was my brother and<br \/>\nseems to think the rest don`t matter! <strong>She has then offered to refund the<br \/>\nbill after several letters and phone calls and still hasn`t done it!<\/strong> Her<br \/>\nexcuse for the awful meal was 9 staff off sick including the chef and<br \/>\nequipment failure!
