The average cost has gone up to almost \u00a316 per head.*<\/p>\n<p>By comparison there are fantastic set-price menu bargains to be had at restaurants over the festive period \u2013 in some cases from just <strong>\u00a317.95 per head <\/strong>for three courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elizabeth Carter, Editor of The Good Food Guide, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhy not take some of the hassle out of Christmas this year and eat out? It might cost a little bit more, but you\u2019ll save yourself some shopping, cooking and washing up and have more time for family, friends and festivities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve chosen ten restaurants around the country where you can eat out over the Christmas period for around thirty quid or less \u2013 even if you live in central London. If you live near Leeds and can get to the Mill Race in Kirkstall, they\u2019re doing a Christmas menu for \u00a317.95.
