Low Calorie Cocktails<\/strong><\/p>\n

Low calorie cocktails are mostly made with gin, vodka and tequila, however you have to be carefull about what you mix the above mentioned spirits with. Best would be Martinis, gin or vodka or you can go for Vespa which is three parts gin one part vodka with lemon twist. Cosmopolitan can also be low in calories if it’s mixed with white cranberry juice instead of red.<\/p>\n

Here are a few other suggestions:<\/em><\/p>\n

Moscow Mule<\/strong><\/p>\n

35 ml vodka<\/p>\n

10 ml diet ginger ale<\/p>\n

juice of 1 fresh lime<\/p>\n

handful ice cubes<\/p>\n

Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker and mix well. Strain out ice, pouring into chilled glasse<\/p>\n

Caipirinha\/Capirosca<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 packet Splenda (or any other sweetner)<\/p>\n

1 Tbsp water<\/p>\n

1 fresh lime<\/p>\n

50 ml Cachaca\/ or 50ml of vodka for capirosca glass of ice cubes<\/p>\n

Mojito<\/strong><\/p>\n

15 ml or three lime wedges fresh lime juice<\/p>\n

1 packet Splenda<\/p>\n

4-5 fresh mint leaves<\/p>\n

50 ml light rum<\/p>\n

top up with soda water<\/p>\n

served over crushed ice<\/p>\n
