The Good Food Guide’s Top Ten Christmas Bargains For Lunch
Out to lunch this Christmas?
You could eat out at a top restaurant this Christmas for just a few pounds more than eating at home, says The Good Food Guide.
The cost of cooking Christmas dinner at home will hit a new high this year with everything from turkey to cranberry sauce rising in price. The average cost has gone up to almost £16 per head.*
By comparison there are fantastic set-price menu bargains to be had at restaurants over the festive period – in some cases from just £17.95 per head for three courses.
Elizabeth Carter, Editor of The Good Food Guide, said:
“Why not take some of the hassle out of Christmas this year and eat out? It might cost a little bit more, but you’ll save yourself some shopping, cooking and washing up and have more time for family, friends and festivities.
“We’ve chosen ten restaurants around the country where you can eat out over the Christmas period for around thirty quid or less – even if you live in central London. If you live near Leeds and can get to the Mill Race in Kirkstall, they’re doing a Christmas menu for £17.95. A real festive bargain if ever there was one!”
