(although have been going approximately 6 times a year since 2005)

Simpsons is a special occasion place, although expensive compared to other
restaurants in the city, it oozes class,style and superb food – we always
have the tasting menu/tasting wine menu when we visit. The quality of the
food is exceptional and the presentation and service always a joy.

Having now visited the other two 1 star restaurants in the city of
Birmingham, Turners & Purnells, although both enjoyable experiences it
made us realise that Simpsons does deserve it second star.
