You're obviously an English woman with a difficult quandry.

On the one hand, the avaricious female consumer in you, fed by American trash like "Sex and the City" clearly glorifies the narcissism of such an existence.

On the other, the good sense instilled in you by your English upbringing cannot be wholly denied and reminds you of how vacuous and taudry that entire scene is.

Best just to remain true to your roots and who you are - otherwise you end up trying to be something you clearly aren't nor are comfortable with.

Good luck!
