We visited; 8th February 2008.
We often come here to celebrate special occasions. Generally we have a great time but recently this place has
turned into more like a club then a bar/restaurant.
If we wanted to go to a club then we certainly wouldn’t of chosen this place, as the name
suggests Masti “Bar/Restaurant”, it’s a bar stroke restaurant and NOT a
club! We were in a group of 10, mostly girls, the night started off really
well; the food was really nice and served on time. The atmosphere was
fantastic, very busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Then suddenly groups of sleazy men arrived and the atmosphere changed, people
began to leave, the younger crowd stayed for a bit longer until the
harassment begun. The girls on the dance floor were subjected to
harassment then onwards and whenever the DJ played bhangra music the
sleazy men would jump onto each others shoulders and dance like animals,
pushing the girls off the dance floor.
It was like male bonding with a Punjabi twist, totally disregarding other dinners, some whom have come
with their families and even young children. When we complained to the
bouncers, they were either too scared to do anything or thought harassment
of girls was perfectly normal. I wouldn’t recommend this place for
families or groups of girls, if you do choose to go, avoid staying there
pass midnight, that’s when the place turns sleazy! Especially on Friday
nights!!
hi my names anika patel and i have been to masti loads of times,its definitely a lively place which is suitable for any sort of occasion go there with my family and the kids all the time and always enjoy the night from start to finish.I read your review and i kinda disagree with what your saying,i do understand masti can get a lil crowded, and as for the men u get sleezy men everywhere u go,i genuinely feel that masti is safe and under control in keeping it to a family dinning place.so in that department thats what i c masti as.apart from that The music at masti is just the best,The residant dj’s there always do a smashing job when it comes to family orientated parties,and trust me these guys dont mess about when it comes to bollywood n bhangra,they twist the whole night up with the most upbeat music ,especially the 70s n 80s grooves.i think the dj was called bassinject entertainment.Dj Pradeep.i guarantee and recommend that if you want a night to remember then go check these guys out at masti!!!!!

i think masti is a great place for families friends food really nice there are some stupid men that go there but you should not let people like that spoil your nite………………..
I don’t think masti is as good as it used to be. The new management is not customer focused and they overcharge customers. My friends booked a table for 10 and only 8 of them were there for the event. They had to pay for the 2 people who weren’t there. So I would really avoid masti if i was planning any sort of event there because all the people you invite are not likely to turn up. It seems that masti only care about making money and there management are really hot tempered who don’t know how to talk to customers.
please avoid MASTI….The managers in that place need to learn the basics about customer service……They are just focused on making money and don’t care if the customers return to the venue. Avoid that bar/restaurant. you will other places that treat their customers as they should be be treated…and that is with respect.
