Your still guaranteed great value at an Indian restaurant, Indian Flavours fallow this exceptional rule. The food is very delicious and leaves you craving for more. The staff are very accommodating, nothing is too awkward, many thing is possible. There are lots of wonderful dishes on the menu, lots of Vegetarian dishes too. Indian flavours also has a great delivery service, so if you can’t go to them, they will come too you. Yes..I am a fan of my local Indian Restaurant( Indian Flavours ).

I have eaten at the Green Man a number of times and having been the recently cannot understand the basis of the two discruntled customers above, you would have to go a long way to find better hospitality and what was obviously fresh produce and very well presented.

I felt i had to respond to the above unecessary comments on behalf of the Green Man as they have put a huge amount of effort into the pub restaurant and i have recently just nominated them in the Essex food and drink wards through the chronicle for best Traditional country pub.

Hi Mark, I came the other evening to have dinner with another couple of friends and asked you about possible bookings for events such as an eightieth birthday. My aunt will be the grand age of 80 and there may be as many as 30 people loooking for a good meal and, possibly some champagne before. The date we are looking at is either the Sunday 20th. July 2008 or Sunday two weeks later - the 3rd. August. Is it possible to send a possible menue to me at this address and I can then check this out with others in the party? A sense of how much this may cost would also be helpful.

I and twelve others of my family had a meal there on Easter Monday afternoon. We were put upstairs where the heating was not turned on and it was very cold. My daughter made three attempts to get her choice of meal, as the first two were off the menu. When the food came it was cold and of poor quality, also on cold plates. When one perspn wanted some more sauce on her dried up pork she was told that she would have to pay an extra £1.50 The first choice on sweets were not available, and the custard was in short supply and watery.On the whole this was a very poor meal and we will not be visiting again.
ps. The service was also very poor and slow.

Fantastic, take your own booze !!

Food was lovely and you could also order a dish where ny you choose two curries in case you could not make up your mind.

Will definately go back, but you need to book it gets very busy

I had a meal at this restaurant yesterday and the service was spectacularly bad. The incompetence was incredible, from having the waiter forget to order our puddings 3 times to waiting 30mins for drinks, which when delivered were wrong. And to cap it all the bill was wrong too - they had the nerve to charge us for all the drinks we didn’t receive. A real shame as its a lovely venue and location - the food was ok - a bit cold but the service really lets them down.

This place states it’s a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant but to be honest there is nothing spanish about it apart from the Spanish beer on offer. The bar is actually ok - but has no ambience. As for the restaurnat it’s clean with an open kitchen but the decor is so old fashioned, as is the menu. The a la cart menu is hardly spanish and when the food arrived it was bland, overcooked and wasn’t presented well. In terms of taste the food was ok, but when you consider the prices it just doesn’t go. The food was overpriced and not spanish. If you want good food than you are better of going to a local pub as this just isn’t spanish and it’s not very good.
